Ethiopian ed-tech company BeBlocky launches it’s Android App

Ethopian based BeBlocky has launched it’s Android 4.0 App, BeBlocky 4.0 on the Google Playstore. BeBlocky 4.0 is a revolutionary Mobile App that makes learning programming very fun and interactive for kids. According to beblocky.com, BeBlocky teaches coding in an engaging and rewarding environment that utilizes gaming elements. It uses block-based programming language to guide a character in solving different puzzles, helping master the fundamentals of programming in the process. Kids will continually build on what they’ve learned so far and create even more complex code along the way. The ed-tech startup aims to equip African children with the fundamentals of computer science. Given the current pandemic, children have been and will forced to stay at home. This provided motivation for Beblocky to be improved upon. The app has received over 10,000 downloads since it’s launch.(techinafrica.com).
